Hardware Inventory
The Hardware Inventory report will provide an overview of the following system specifications:

  • Installed internal memory
  • Screen resolution
  • Operating system version, including service pack level and bit version
  • Processor architecture
  • Processor type and speed
  • Chassis type to identify laptops and desktops
  • Disk space, including space used by Windows, applications, profile(s) and free space

Totals and percentages are shown in graphs. Details are shown in tables. Based on the Hardware Inventory report, IT professionals can estimate hardware upgrades or replacements necessary for operating system upgrades, disk space required for transformations to virtual desktops.

Application Landscape
This report provides a top 50 of:

  • Common applications most used
  • Rare used applications
  • Never used applications

This information is divided over the different type of systems, such as laptops, desktop or remote desktop services. The Application Landscape helps identifying important applications being used by the user population for prioritization in application virtualization projects or transformations to virtual desktops.

User Population

  • Domain groups per domain
  • User types
  • Devices per domain
  • Shared or dedicated devices

Complexity in infrastructure often depends on the type of users in your infrastructure. The User Population report helps you identifying the different user types throughout your organization and how they user the systems.
 
Printer Topology
The Printer Topology report provides information about network printers and local printers found inside the user session. The information is divided into the following categories:

  • Local printers versus network printers
  • Top 10 configured individual printers (local and network)
  • Top 10 printer types based on printer driver used (local and network)
  • All printers

Location Layout
This report presents a list of networks found in the sample files. The networks discovered are split in class-a and class-c networks. This information provides a rough estimate on the about of networks being used across locations. Based on this information network administrators will be able to identify the actual locations.
